EMSCO Heavy Equipment attends SUMA & SIMSA tradeshows in Saskatoon

EMSCO Heavy Equipment recently participated in two tradeshows in the Saskatoon region to continue to raise the profile of the company and ensure clients and our prospective customers are aware of all that we offer to the heavy equipment industry.

The SUMA (Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association) convention and tradeshow saw EMSCO in attendance at TCU Place in Saskatoon on April 16, 17, & 18.  At this show we focused on the equipment, parts, and services most aligned with the municipal marketplace.  Devin Wallin, Director of Corporate Services for EMSCO, said “The municipal world is important to EMSCO, and we wanted to show the crowd at SUMA that we have plenty to offer them!

The Hyundai Construction Equipment products that we represent are a great fit for towns and cities across Saskatchewan, and the fact that EMSCO has rental equipment available for both short and long-term projects is something many of the people at the show were interested to learn.  We were also able to get the word out about EMSCO’s recently rebuilt CAT 816F Landfill Compactor that is available for rent or purchase. Landfill management is an important part of the operation of all towns and cities in the province, and customers were interested to learn that we have this machine available.”

Immediately following the close of the SUMA tradeshow, the EMSCO team headed to the Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum at Prairieland Park, Saskatoon. This event is the primary program that is focused on current mining projects in Saskatchewan and the related supply chain opportunities for manufacturing goods and services companies.  EMSCO focused on the parts, service, and equipment solutions we offer to the mining industry.

“At this show, EMSCO keyed in on our parts and exchange component expertise we have that is applicable to the mining business.  Our in-stock inventory of CAT D10T, D11T and large haul truck components were on full display, and we had information available about the rental equipment we have for Potash applications”, said Devin Wallin, Director of Corporate Services.

We were pleased to have Andrew Morrison, EMSCO’s Mining Product Support Specialist in attendance to further engage with clients in this sector.
