We recently hosted our Hyundai Demo Days in Regina and Saskatoon, bringing together an exciting four-day event. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the impressive lineup of Hyundai machines and what they can bring to the table.

During these four action-packed days, attendees had the chance to get hands-on with some incredible machines. We had the HX350 A L Excavator, the 60CR-9A & 80CR-9A Mini Excavators, the HW210A Wheel Loader, and the much-anticipated showstopper, the HL985A Wheel Loader – Hyundai's heavy-hitting champion.

Hyundai Construction Equipment pulled the curtain back on the HL985A prototype, sending it out to select dealers to gather insights. The machine boasts an impressive 9.1 cubic yard bucket, a 430 horsepower Cummins X12 Performance Series engine, a slick ZF 5-speed transmission, and a bunch of comfort and safety features that Hyundai is known for. Think All-Around View Monitoring (AAVM), rearview camera, a cool 7-inch multi-function monitor & control panel, cabin climate control, heated air-ride seats, and more.

We're excited to have been handpicked as one of the chosen dealers to showcase this machine. The four days were a whirlwind of excitement, with lots of folks jumping into the driver's seat to give these machines a spin. And guess what? The feedback was seriously off the charts. People were blown away by how easy it was to operate these machines, not to mention how comfortable they are. Both the engine and hydraulic power exceeds their expectations and standard positive safety features like the “AAVM” didn't go unnoticed either – folks are itching to get these machines into their fleets.  The HL985A loader coupled with the 9.1 yard bucket operates with ease and quickly fills a super-B train trailer with 2 buckets or less.  That is impressive!
